Our Village

Welcome to the Village!

Village Life was founded with a vision far beyond workouts—we are a movement, a philosophy, and a way of life. Here in the heart of Beverly Hills, strength isn’t just about how your body moves but how you carry yourself in the world. We train with power and grace, we honor the feminine and the fierce, and we believe that movement is a sacred ritual—one that heals, transforms, and connects. (also… we like to have fun while we sweat.)

Step into a sun drenched sanctuary designed to elevate every part of your experience. We have curated a boutique environment with hands-on, intelligent programming, and outfitted with premium Spanish made Elina reformers, one of the first of their kind in Los Angeles. These elite machines merge the dynamic glide of a traditional reformer with the power of a megaformer, offering maximum results with plush precision and zero compromise.

This isn’t just a studio—it’s a village.

Hi ya’ll!

I’m Dru, co-founder of Village Life Pilates and a lifelong mover, dreamer and wellness nerd. Before co-founding Village Life, I was the co-founder of the original House of Core in Los Angeles, where I helped build a thriving Pilates community through deep client connection, daily presence, and hands-on leadership. That experience taught me the value of personal relationships not only in studio success, but even more importantly -in my own personal growth. And I am so grateful for that experience. With Village Life, I also realize a desire to bring strength, elegance, community and soul to every corner of the Pilates experience.

My teaching style blends athletic moves and pacing with Pilates precision, soulful healing, and breath to help facilitate a mind-body connection. Drawing from my certifications in Pilates, LaGree, Yin Massage Yoga, and Holy Fire Reiki, I intuitively blend healing practices into every session. I’m all about movement that makes you feel strong, empowered, and resilient- on the reformer, in life, and everywhere in between.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me hiking LA’s canyons, traveling, seeing live music, making art, hanging with my son or tagging along with my super cute Chef boyfriend to food events. When I witness and experience the true connections happening in our village, I feel the most fulfilled. Sure- Pilates is intuitive, brilliant and having a trendy moment, (and I admit- THAT’S fun!;) but being a part of our village and movement is gratifying and humbling!

Come get strong, healthy and happy with us!

Dru Mouser

CO-FOUNDER / CEO/ INSTRUCTOR

Hi, I’m Sasha! Born and raised in Los Angeles, I’m a spirited and passionate Pilates instructor here to welcome you to our Village Life Pilates community in Beverly Hills. With a lifelong love for movement and athletics, I discovered that Pilates offers something special—a balance of strength, energy, and joy that no other workout has ever given me.

My classes are high-energy, fun, and rooted in precision, designed to leave you feeling strong, empowered, and uplifted. Whether we’re flowing to a killer playlist or dialing into form, my mission is to help you feel your best, both inside and out. You’ll also meet my little sidekick, Kobe, my tiny dog who loves to roam the studio and bring smiles to everyone’s face!

When I’m not on the reformer or mat, you can find me watching sports (big fan over here), trying out the newest restaurants around LA, and spending time with my friends or my Village Life family.

I am fully certified in mat, reformer, springboard, and tower, and I’m dedicated to creating an environment that feels welcoming, dynamic, and supportive for every client. Let’s move, sweat, and grow together!

Hi, I'm Sharon Nechemia, and I am excited to have you in my class! Originally from New Jersey, my journey led me to sunny Los Angeles two years ago, after living in the Bay Area for 5 years. When I moved to LA, I discovered my passion for Pilates and haven’t stopped since! Under the expert guidance of Dru Mouser, I became Reformer Pilates certified, so I am an expert instructor in the VLP method!

I'm committed to providing a challenging and rewarding experience for all my clients. My classes are known for their energetic pace and I focus on precision and form. My goal is to always make everyone feel welcomed and apart of our village! I believe in the power of community and how that community can help you achieve all of your fitness goals. Our village is so important to me!

When I am not teaching Pilates, I am rying all the best new coffee shops and restaurants with my fiance and friends. Join my classes and experience a workout that will leave you feeling strong, invigorated, and connected!! See you soon!

Rebecca Benenati

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

I’ve been in the health and fitness world since 1992. Long before I trained as a doula, I had already built a personal business around private yoga, massage, and personal training. I began teaching yoga in 1993, inspired by the joyful reminder of how much I loved moving and stretching as a young gymnast. Over the years, yoga has become far more than a practice—it’s my anchor. It’s what keeps me grounded, sane, happy, challenged, and strong. As a mother of two, I understand the everyday demands and the importance of self-regulation. My yoga classes are physically challenging, but I also encourage students to go inward. I invite them to explore ideas and reflect during practice, creating space for deeper awareness and connection—not just movement. I’m inspired to guide people into their own bodies rather than simply direct them on what to do. In addition to my experience in yoga, I’m trained in Somatic Coaching, parent coaching, massage therapy, personal training, meditation, and aromatherapy. I’m also a certified doula, trained through DONA International with Ana Paula Markel and Judy Chapman. Currently, I teach the comfort measures segment for doula trainings at Bini Birth in Sherman Oaks—a natural extension of the work I’ve loved doing for decades. Supporting women through the transition into motherhood is one of my greatest passions. I’ve built a strong community by creating intentional space for new mothers to connect, feel supported, and never feel alone. I regularly host gatherings for women to ensure they have that sense of belonging and sisterhood. Helping others feel seen, held, and strong in their bodies is truly the heart of my work.

Kelsi Taylor Cook

REFORMER PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Hi guys, I'm Kelsi! I’m a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor, trained in mat, reformer, chair, Cadillac, and tower.

Seven years ago, I stumbled into a Pilates class and fell in love with its blend of balance, coordination, and mindfulness - it's more than a workout, it's a way of life that keeps you on your toes! In your grip socks, of course ;)

In my classes, I offer an athletic flow that challenges your muscles while prioritizing form, ensuring you leave feeling strong and eager to return. When I'm not teaching, I cherish time with my husband & our wonderful pups, and reading my Bible.
